What is a “Plan Review”?
The District of Clare is reviewing its Municipal Planning Strategy document and Land Use Bylaw. As a part of the review process, we are calling on the residents of Clare help us update the vision for the Municipal District and set new goals for the community’s future.
A Municipal Plan review is an ongoing process where Clare residents and stakeholders will have multiple opportunities to participate. The review will include public consultation events, online surveys, discussion groups, and many more platforms for community members to voice their opinions.

As the review proceeds, we will post items and updates to inform County representatives and residents including announcements of meetings and consultations, summaries of resulting public input, project background information, reports, and other news about the project.

The project team will work with, and for the Clare community, Council, and Planning Advisory Committee to develop a holistic plan for the entire district based on robust social, economic, and environmental research, sound planning principles, and comprehensive community input.
